Background Information:
I have been a social worker for over 30 years. I served on the faculties of Columbia, Fordham and Loyola Schools of Social Work and Allegheny College, conducted and wrote a book presenting the results of research on the prosecution of child sexual abuse. I have been in private practice working with individuals and couples for the past ten years. My approach to therapy is grounded in my experience, both clinical and academic. I view a person's environment as critical to their emotional state. My style is supportive and gently directive, but above all, respectful of the individual and the relationship. I believe my strength is in helping couples to achieve clarity about their situation and make productive informed decisions about their lives.
