I am a NC Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have gained far reaching experience over the past twenty years as a social worker and therapist investing in the lives of children, adults, couples and families. I held the position of the Director of the Domestic Abuse Services of the YWCA of Greenwich in Connecticut giving me the opportunity to both counsel and educate individuals and the community on the issue of family violence. Helping couples learn effective ways of communicating and understand better ways of dealing with life stressors is an area of my practice that I find very rewarding.
