The Marriage Breakthrough Seminar™
3:32 pm Friday, July 11th, 2008| August 16, 2008 |
Falling in love is easy, but keeping that love alive is another matter. Couples therapist and relationship expert, Susan Orenstein, Ph.D., is convinced she has the formula for making relationships great and keeping them that way. For the past decade, she has been helping couples overcome conflict and build closer connections.
In this seminar, Susan shares the latest marital research of John Gottman and the clinical expertise of Solution-Focused therapist, Michele Weiner-Davis, to describe what differentiates the masters and disasters of marriage. Research shows that what separates couples who divorce from those who stay happily married over the long haul takes much more than love and commitment. It’s skills—problem solving skills, communication skills, intimacy skills and so on.
Unlike other relationship experts who spend too much time explaining why you and your spouse are stuck, Susan focuses on solutions. You won’t have to delve into your past or analyze your problems to death. Instead, you’ll learn down-to-earth, practical skills that will allow you and your spouse communicate better and build greater intimacy.
This workshop is for you if:
• Your relationship seems to be the last item on your “To-Do” List
• You and your spouse keep arguing about the same issues
• You feel resentful, misunderstood, or hurt much of the time
